Nova Quinta do Sagrado

Nova Quinta do Sagrado, is one of the oldest properties in Pinhão and gathers two centenary families - the descendants of the iconic Marquis Nicolas Alexandre de Ségur, proclaimed as Prince des Vignes by King Louis XV of France, and the Cálem family, one of the most emblematic producers and shippers of Port wine. The estate is equipped with traditional granite tanks for foot treading, temperature control
for fermentation, and French oak cooperage for aging the wines. After bottling, their wines are kept for a minimum of 12 months further maturing before being released.
